Error Code 2 or 3

Errors 2 & 3 are generally associated with one of the thermistors (temperature sensing components) and are either because:
  1. The system has become too hot.
  2. The system is dirty and is giving false readings.
  1. Did the error message appear after a roast that exceeded the recommended time of 10 seconds
    into 2nd crack, an excessively smoky roast or after your system experienced a fire of any
    consequence or?

    Yes – Perform a dry burn.

    Did the Behmor perform the dry burn without an error message?

    Yes – The Behmor is functioning but will require cleaning of the interior as described in Update 1
    No – Have you unplugged the Behmor to reset it?

    Yes – Please fill out the Customer Support form and we will be in touch to address your problem

    No – Please unplug your Behmor to reset it, then attempt a dry burn.

    Is the system now working?

    Yes – Good. We recommend your clean your Behmor as outlined in Update 1

    No – Please fill out our Customer support form and we will be in contact

    No – Have you unplugged the Behmor to reset it?

    Yes – Please fill out the Customer Support form and we will be in touch to address your problem.
    No – Please unplug your Behmor to reset it, the attempt a dry burn.

    Is the system now working?

    Yes – Good. We recommend your clean your Behmor as outlined in Update 1
    No – Please fill out our Customer support form and we will be in contact

  2. Have you performed a dry burn every 5 roasts to keep the system clean? And Simple Green?

    Yes – Is the interior bright and shiny?

    Yes – Have you unplugged the Behmor to reset it (as described above) and still get the error?

    Yes – Please fill out the Customer support form and we will be in touch.

    No – Please reset the Behmor as described above and continue with the troubleshooting at that point.

    No – Follow the cleaning instructions in “Update 1”.

    Does the roaster perform properly after the cleaning?
    Yes – good
    No – Fill out the Customer Support form and we will be in touch.

  3. No tech support can be provided without full name, address, telephone number, email address, where purchased, date purchased and last six digits of the serial number. No Exceptions
