  • Err1, Err2, or Err3

    Generally, there are three conditions which can cause an error 1, 2, or 3.

    1. Err1 (Knowledge Base Article) — The system is “stored” in an environment below 45F (7.2C)
    2. Err 1, 2, or 3 — The system experienced a rise in temperature greater than expected such as a bean ignition or extremely smoky roast.
  • Err4, Err5, or Err6

    Generally the following are conditions that cause an error 4, 5, or 6.

    1. Err4 — General causes are either a bad draw fan, bad or loose connection, afterburners not working or malfunctioning front panel.
    2. Err5 — Generally occurs when the component cooling/DC Fan is not working (not to be confused with the bean cooling fan/scroll fan), loose connection or the front Panel is not working correctly.
    3. Err6 — Generally occurs due to the motor failing or the cylinder having been jammed. If you have an err6 message immediately cease using the roaster and contact Behmor. Continued use could damage other component such as system power boards, PCB, etc.
    4. Err6 then 1 — The motor has malfunctioned and burned out another component.
