You need to engage the auto safety feature on the Behmor Plus Roaster.

When you see the un 30 to 1 second countdown on your display, simply
press the START button, and you can then continue on with your dry burn or roast.

Its designed to make sure someone is present and in control of the roaster at exactly 75% of the way through a preset roasting time

EXAMPLE

1/4 lb. and time is at 8:30 to start a roast.
At exactly 75 % of the time eplasped,2.07 left on the display, the Un 30 to 1 second countdown will start, and thus a 30 second window to press the START button.
