The seasonality of green coffee

It is important to remember that coffee is an agricultural product that is grown on bushes. Green coffee does not keep its’ quality forever.
● Depending on processing and storage, the ideal roasting time is 3 months to a year after harvest.
● Coffees stored in Grainpro bags have a longer shelf life.
● Some general guidelines- The better Central American coffees and East African coffees are their best in Spring. Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Indonesia are Summer and fall coffees. Hawaii is late fall/ early winter. Colombia has two distinct harvests and has fresh coffee year long!
