In order to be SCAA Certified we are required to meet their parameters to include the carafe’s heat retention over time as well as other set standards on the allowable temperature for coffee to enter into the carafe. The latter dramatically affecting the former. Once provided those standards, we designed to them as such we enjoy SCAA Gold Cup Certification. The SCAA has specific holding time requirements for the 1/2 hour mark.
By being SCAA certified, the brewer meets those requirements. If the coffee is cold within a half an hour, try adjusting your brewing temperature. Then contact our tech support for further assistance by filling out this form.
